The fairs are a pure celebration of our customs and traditions.

 

From the most traditional, agricultural and livestock fairs to the new proposals, all of them are a lively meeting point.

 

Come to our fairs to experience our culture close up and chat with the local people, who offer fresh produce from their vegetable gardens.

 

Dance a jota to the rhythm of the txistu and tambourine and savour some of the most deeply-rooted and beautiful customs of the Basque Country: demonstrations of Basque sports, sheepdogs and traditional dances.

 

The fairs are a place to buy handicrafts, taste the products made in Gorbeia and see livestock exhibitions: large cows and oxen, native breed sheep, goats and pigs.

 

A good txakolí, a cider, a talo with txorizo, music and a good atmosphere will help you to say and do the same as we do: Aupa! to say hello and come on! to do whatever it takes.
