Discover the historic quarter of the monumental town of Areatza.

 

The historic quarter of Areatza, classified as a Cultural Asset, with the category of Monumental Site, has the usual characteristic of medieval villages, laid out in two streets parallel to the river Arratia.

 

Discover its remarkable palaces and mansions at your own pace with the help of your mobile phone and the QR codes that you will find at the points of interest in the town.

 

During the tour, the guide will explain the origins of Areatza, the only town in the Arratia Valley, as well as its streets, monuments, palaces, mansions, churches, etc., such as the convent of Santa Isabel (16th century), Gortazar Palace (16th century) and the Bekorreta and Goikoerrota mills, among others.

 

At each point you will find a QR code with information to listen to the audio.
