Irubidaur Ethnographic Museum

Discover the history of the beautiful village of Izarra and its traditional way of life.

This small museum tells the history of the village of Izarra, a village of elegant typical Basque houses that stand out for their antiquity and uniqueness. Among them, next to the bridge, is an old ancestral home which houses the museum.

All the items on display have been donated by the inhabitants of the municipality. There are objects related to the house and household goods, agriculture, hunting, livestock, crafts and the railway, which had such a great socio-economic influence on the whole region in the past.

Access to the museum is free, but it is necessary to arrange a visit.
