We call the Gorbeia reservoirs the inland sea of Euskadi, because in its surroundings, as well as doing numerous sporting activities and seeing an incredible diversity of birds, you can go to the beach.

 

The Ullibarri-Gamboa reservoir is a fantastic place for fishing and water sports such as sailing and canoeing. It has three blue flag inland beaches located in the Garaio and Landa Provincial Parks where you can sunbathe, swim or simply relax.

 

The Urrunaga reservoir attracts numerous water birds, making it a popular spot for bird watching. On the banks of the reservoir, the Sorgimendi and Zabalain recreational areas have tables, barbecues, fountains and children's games.

 

All the reservoirs offer opportunities to enjoy nature, practise outdoor activities and relax in peaceful surroundings.
